  2. The service • The service is an offering of love. • 28But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard. He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went. And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not. Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. (Mat 21) • ماذا تظنون .كان لانسان ابنان فجاء الى الاول وقال يا ابني اذهب اليوم اعمل في كرمي . فاجاب وقال ما اريد .ولكنه ندم اخيرا ومضى . وجاء الى الثاني وقال كذلك .فاجاب وقال ها انا يا سيد .ولم يمض . فأي الاثنين عمل ارادة الاب .قالوا له الاول

  4. The second son: whosaidyes • Why?? • Conditional Service • When I: • have time • Want (my will not His will) • Need Jesus to give me the pleasure of this world (Pharisees) • Feel weak / lonely (exams, illness) • Conditional love: I give God service if He gives me what I want

The First son: who said No I- They get astray for a short time and then return to God • Disciples at the time of the cross • St-mark in Paul’s first trip Take Mark, and bring him with thee: for he is profitable to me for the ministry. خذ مرقس واحضره معك لانه نافع لي للخدمة • Moses after killing the Egyptian And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face, In all the signs and the wonders, which the LORD sent him to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh ولم يقم بعد نبي في اسرائيل مثل موسى الذي عرفه الرب وجها لوجه في جميع الآيات والعجائب التي ارسله الرب ليعملها في ارض مصر بفرعون

  6. Whom am I ? Do not be afraid Most of us go through these states in our personal relationship with God We are going to mature spiritually and go beyond our weakness IF We submit our lives to God IF We want?

  8. How? 1. Prayers • I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; They shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the LORD, do not keep silent, 7 And give Him no rest till He establishes And till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth. (Isaiah 62:6-7) • 6عَلَى أَسْوَارِكِ يَا أُورُشَلِيمُ أَقَمْتُ حُرَّاسًالاَ يَسْكُتُونَ كُلَّ النَّهَارِ وَكُلَّ اللَّيْلِ عَلَى الدَّوَامِ. يَا ذَاكِرِي الرَّبِّ لاَ تَسْكُتُوا، 7وَلاَ تَدَعُوهُ يَسْكُتُ، حَتَّى يُثَبِّتَ وَيَجْعَلَ أُورُشَلِيمَ تَسْبِيحَةً فِي الأَرْضِ.

  9. How? 2. Love one another • Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal (1 Cor. 13:1) • 1إِنْ كُنْتُ أَتَكَلَّمُ بِأَلْسِنَةِ النَّاسِ وَالْمَلاَئِكَةِ وَلكِنْ لَيْسَ لِي مَحَبَّةٌ، فَقَدْ صِرْتُ نُحَاسًا يَطِنُّ أَوْ صَنْجًا يَرِنُّ. 2وَإِنْ كَانَتْ لِي نُبُوَّةٌ، وَأَعْلَمُ جَمِيعَ الأَسْرَارِ وَكُلَّ عِلْمٍ، وَإِنْ كَانَ لِي كُلُّ

  10. How? 3. Humbleness: • What does the LORD require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God? (Micah 6:8) • ؟ 8قَدْ أَخْبَرَكَ أَيُّهَا الإِنْسَانُ مَا هُوَ صَالِحٌ، وَمَاذَا يَطْلُبُهُ مِنْكَ الرَّبُّ، إِلاَّ أَنْ تَصْنَعَ الْحَقَّ وَتُحِبَّ الرَّحْمَةَ، وَتَسْلُكَ مُتَوَاضِعًا مَعَ إِلهِكَ. • Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap (Gal 6:7) • 7لاَ تَضِلُّوا! اَللهُ لاَ يُشْمَخُ عَلَيْهِ. فَإِنَّ الَّذِي يَزْرَعُهُ الإِنْسَانُ إِيَّاهُ يَحْصُدُ أَيْضًا.

  11. How? 4. Good example: • "I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’" (Acts 20:35) • في كل شيء اريتكم انه هكذا ينبغي انكم تتعبون وتعضدون الضعفاء متذكرين كلمات الرب يسوع انه قال مغبوط هو العطاء اكثر من الاخذ. (اعمال 20:35

Thanksgiving in: • Weakness: Gideon • Time of troubles • Little resources: And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground: and all Judah fell before the LORD, worshipping the LORD. And the Levites, stood up to praise the LORD God of Israel with a loud voice on high. And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper. فخرّ يهوشافاط لوجهه على الارض وكل يهوذا و سقطوا امام الرب سجودا للرب. فقام اللاويون ليسبحوا الرب اله اسرائيل بصوت عظيم جدا وبكّروا صباحا وخرجوا الى برية وعند خروجهم وقف يهوشافاط وقال اسمعوا يا يهوذا آمنوا بالرب الهكم فتأمنوا.آمنوا بانبيائه فتفلحوا

  13. True service Fruits: • Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him. (Gen 26:12) • 12وَزَرَعَ إِسْحَاقُ فِي تِلْكَ الأَرْضِ فَأَصَابَ فِي تِلْكَ السَّنَةِ مِئَةَ ضِعْفٍ، وَبَارَكَهُ الرَّبُّ • Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he has given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. And I will restore to you the years that the locust has eaten (Joel 2:23) • 23وَيَا بَنِي صِهْيَوْنَ، ابْتَهِجُوا وَافْرَحُوا بِالرَّبِّ إِلهِكُمْ، لأَنَّهُ يُعْطِيكُمُ الْمَطَرَ الْمُبَكِّرَ عَلَى حَقِّهِ، وَيُنْزِلُ عَلَيْكُمْ مَطَرًا مُبَكِّرًا وَمُتَأَخِّرًا فِي أَوَّلِ الْوَقْتِ،
