  19. Interviews with Children Interview with Lasse 12 years old: There I sit (when I play Counterstrike) and glance at a screen all the time without concentrating on what I do, I just zap through a game. Here I sit and listen to what I do. I think I shall learn the most there (he points at the music computer). That is when I use my brain most of all. Interview with Michael , 12 years old: Michael about the music computer, “You do the things yourselves. Put it all together. In a way it is like creating your own game.

  20. Interviews with the Social Educators of the club Funny. Exiting. A good pedagogical tool. The programmes are easy to work with for the children. When on the music computer children lose themselves at a completely different level than usually. The children have had many experiences of success. They have used their creative abilities. The children have collaborated on the different activities The music has been created by the children themselves They have comprehended the essential elements of the music .

  21. Halfway Considerations • The music computer has inspired to traditional activities – • Dancing, painting, singing, drama in interaction with the computer. • Furthermore, lyrics have been composed and sung spontaneously – stomp and music videos were made supported by the computer. • The children have been very productive. We filled a hard disc with music and sound productions. Part of it has been published on our home page.

  22. The production is extremely versatile and imaginative. • The developmental work has given inspiration to a continuation; the club will buy multimedia computers. • The developmental work will continue by the launch of a “web-radio station”. • Although the children can cope on their own adult inspiration is needed for the children’s creativity. In the periods where we inspired the children the computers were used very much.

  23. Institutional Use • - Develop and strengthen children’s and young people’s IT competences • - Create new interactive activities instead of the “normal” computer games • Challenge the members’ own imagination, and strengthen the members’ sense of community. • Involve the members in creative processes, where “the computer competences” are used in a creative activity

  24. What can you do? • Interview each other, other clubs, firms, associations, etc., etc. • Make own compositions/music by means of the different music programmes • Take pictures, install and edit pictures • Record live music • Makes films • Make radio features • Make a home page

  25. Strengthen and develop the collaboration among the institutions • Develop an “Online Medium” and give the public the possibility to get an insight into the work of the institutions!
