  1. California Student Aid Commission Dream Application How to submit your signature & your parent‘s signature

  2. Go to WWW.CalDreamAct.Org and click on “California Dream Act Application” as seen below

  3. To Provide a Student Signature you must click on the “Retrieve Current Application” tab as seen below

  4. You must choose one of the options below when signing the Dream Application. The fastest way to sign is Electronically!! You must click on “Sign Electronically With My Pin” and click on “Create/Change Signature PIN” tab

  5. You MUST create your own PIN number and click the “Submit” button. The system will store your PIN for future signing. The system will let you know that the PIN has been Accepted. You can choose to update the PIN by clicking on “Create/Change Signature PIN”, changing it, and clicking “Submit.”

  6. Wait!!! You are not done yet!! You must agree to the terms, click on the “Agree” button and then click on the “ Submit Application” tab to complete the process

  7. You will see this message when the process is complete and your application has been accepted. You will then receive a Confirmation Page.

  8. Any errors that may need correction will be displayed along with informational messages. If you are a dependent student, you are required to submit your parent’s signature to complete the application. Click on the “Home” tab to proceed.

  9. Important Facts Regarding the Parent PIN • You and your parents must decide which parent will sign the application • Only one parent can obtain a PIN number and this PIN is tied to the individual student • If there is more than one student submitting a Dream Application in the same household, the parent will have obtain a PIN number for each student. • Every time the student makes a correction on the application the parent will need to sign again.

  10. Sign out of the application and return to the main log-in page. To obtain or submit you parents PIN # you must click on “Provide Signature” tab as seen below

  11. Once you get to this screen select the parent who will obtain the parent PIN number to sign. Every time you make a correction your parent will need to sign again. Remember only one parent can obtain a PIN number and this PIN is tied to the individual student, meaning that if there is more than one student submitting a Dream Application in the same household parents will have obtain a PIN number for each student.

  12. Once you choose which parent will obtain the PIN number you will be asked to provide demographic information. If your parent already has a PIN # enter it and click NEXT. If your parent is signing for the first time click on the NEXT button.

  13. Your parent will have to provide your demographic information exactly as it appears on the Dream Application. Enter the wages of the parent that is requesting the PIN. Click NEXT to obtain the PIN number. Report wages of same parent requesting PIN #

  14. Make sure your parent writes down the parent PIN # and keeps it in a safe place for future signing. Click OK to proceed with the parent signature process.

  15. Your Parent must:1. Enter the PIN # where indicated 2. Read the Terms of the Agreement 3. Click Agree, and 4. Sign Application

  16. The message below will display when you have completed the signature process!!!
