SDSNA Reports • Membership Update • SD Chapter Membership Status (as of 09/30/09): • 852 members, 6 gains from 08/31/09 • 7 “Drops”: 1 ENS, 3 O4, 1 O5, 1 O6, 1 O6 (Ret) • New to the Area (11): 1 E8, 7 ENS, 1 O3, 1 O4 (Ret), 1 Civ • “Expiring Memberships” (“next” three months): • Sep: (7) 3 E7, 2 O4, 1 O5, 1 O6 (Ret) • Oct: (4) 2 O6 (Ret), 1 O5 (Ret), 1 E6 • Nov: (5) 1 O2 (USCG), 1 O4, 1 O5, 2 O6 (Ret) • Misc: • School Ship Concept: SNA and NBSD propose starting a recurring Professional Development "School Ship" event for the surface community. This event would be open to all the waterfront and SNA Members (Active and Retired, who have a great interest in continued education of our ships). The focus would be on educating our surface community about our surface platform capabilities.
