Dividing Fractions. September 3 rd 2013. 3 simple steps. Turn the second fraction (the one you want to divide by) upside down (this is now the reciprocal). Multiply the first fraction by that reciprocal. Simplify the fraction if needed. Examples. 2/3 divided by 1/4 = 2/3 * 4/1= 8/3
