Simulation and Modeling of Thin-Walled Girder in Post-Critical State

This study explores the modeling and simulation of thin-walled girders operating under post-critical conditions. It focuses on the stability issues encountered during experimental analyses, highlighting the complex behavior of these structures. The research applies physical discretization methods within the FyDiK framework to enhance understanding of girder mechanics. Results underline the demanding behavior of thin-walled girders when subjected to critical loading. The contribution is part of project GA ČR 103/08/0275, conducted at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Brno University of Technology.
