  2. Important people. *Dr. Martian Luther King JR.: -Gave ”I have a dream” speech in 1963. *John F. Kennedy: -Became President of US. *Rosa Parks: - She didn’t let a white person in their proper seat, so she was arrested.

  3. Innovation/Discovery. *Computer Chip: -used in our electronics today. *Environmental Hazard: -became aware so no one would die from pollution. *Apollo 11 astronaut walks on moon: -Neil Armstrong finally walks on Moon in 1969 and was a success.

  4. Entertainment & fashion item. * Mini Dress -It was a new fashion for girls. *High Go-Go Boots: -The mod look. *Flintstones: -a cartoon that was watched a lot.

  5. Events. *First Super Bowl: -First Super Bowl only cost 12 dollars or less for per person. *American troops fight in Vietnam: -Troops fought to help the South Vietnam. *Civil Rights Act: -To stop discrimination against African Americans.

  6. Event or person. *Shopping Mall: -became popular 1960-1964. *Environment awareness: -to change people’s minds. *Golf: -brought to attention by Grand Slam on television.
