  1. Steps Just follow these 5 easy steps… Step 1: Apply for Admission to York Technical College.

  2. Step 2: Apply for Financial Aid, online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. All students must complete this step to be eligible for lottery tuition assistance.

  3. Step 3: Take the Placement Test. Students who have taken the SAT or ACT or haveattended college previously, should contact Admissions at (803) 327-8008 or 1-800-922-8324 to determine if the placement test is necessary.

  4. Step 4: Review your test results with an Admissions Counselor and be admitted to the College. Admissions Office Hours Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 7:00pm Friday 8:00am - 3:00pm (summer)8:00am - 5:00pm (fall and spring)

  5. Step 5: Register, Pay, and Begin Classes.
