Early Intervention services that may be included are: • Assistive technology devices • Audiological services • Communication services • Family training, counseling, and home visits • Health and medical services • Nutrition services • Nursing services (for developmental purposes) • Occupational therapy

  8. EFNEP • Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program • Nutrition teachers come to your home • You are taught nutrition lessons • Cooking • Food budget • Eating well • You record food intake and the teacher reviews

  9. Food Stamp Nutrition • Attend classes on cooking, food, and health. • Classes are usually free

  10. WIC • Women, infants, and children • Nutrition program for • Infants 0-12 months • Children 1-5 years • Pregnant and breast feeding women • Vouchers for healthy foods • Milk, cheese, cereal, beans, peanut butter, and 100% juice. • Attend nutrition classes • Height, weight, and iron status of children is measured
