  1. The Shang Dynasty By : M.J. It began in 1766 B.C. It ended in 1100 B.C.

  2. Location • In Anyang northern China.

  3. Leaders • Their leaders were priests and kings. • A dynasty is a ruling family that rule one after another somewhere.

  4. Accomplishments • Bronze working!

  5. Accomplishments Continued • First dynasty to unite a big part of China.

  6. Accomplishments continued • One of the first people to develop writing

  7. Downfall • Because they were so wealthy they wouldn’t fight so they were conquered by the Chou dynasty.

  8. Interesting Facts • Didn’t care about anyone but themselves, so the soldiers wouldn’t work together to protect their country from being conquered.
