Data Citation Practices and Standards in the USNC Task Group Report

This report outlines the work of the CODATA Task Group on Data Citation, focusing on identification, attribution, citation, and linking of data. Co-chaired by international experts, the group aims to promote common practices and standards. Work products include literature analysis, stakeholder interviews, symposiums, and a published report freely available online. The group plans to harmonize existing principles, compile examples of best practices, and produce a consensus document for global policymakers. Future efforts will focus on dissemination, collaboration with key organizations, and the upcoming CODATA General Assembly in New Delhi in 2014.
