When he was four years old he and his parents moved to the DominicanRepublic then to Miami, Florida. In high school he was hitting .505 with 9 home runs, 36 RBIs, and 35 steals. He had a .321 average. • He won another MVP with the Yankees in 2007. • He won this one by having 143 runs, 183 hits, 54 home runs, and 156 RBIs.
