The CoMSEF Early Career Award recognizes exceptional research in computational molecular science and engineering. Nominees should be within 15 years of completing their PhD and must be members of CoMSEF. The nomination process includes submitting a CV, a nomination letter from a department chair or supervisor, and two additional support letters. Selections are made by an ad hoc committee of CoMSEF officers and representatives from related organizations. The award is presented annually at the AIChE meeting, accompanied by a plaque and a cash prize.

CoMSEF Early Career Award • Purpose: Recognize outstanding research in computational molecular science and engineering • Nominees must be less than 15 years from completion of PhD and must be members of CoMSEF • Nomination (deadline May 15): • CV • Nomination letter from department chair or supervisor • 2 additional letters • Selected by ad hoc committee of CoMSEF officers and 2 representatives of related organizations (CACHE, 1a) • Selection based on overall strength of research accomplishments • Award to be presented at the AIChE meeting • To be awarded annually • Plaque and cash award
