Organization • As you are collecting your sources, keep track of them and keep them organized so that you can refer back to them when you need them. • One way to do this is to make note cards as you do research.   4. Quoting, Paraphrasing, or Summarizing • After you have read a source, look away from it and summarize the main points of that source.
