  3. IPC Update Changes To Organization Name And Constitution • IATCA has been renamed International Personnel Certification Association (IPC). • The Constitution and Bylaws have been amended as required to reflect the agreed changes in structure for governance and membership. • IPC has been registered as a legal entity and has established an office and secretariat in Greece.

  4. IPC Update INTERNATIONAL PERSONNEL CERTIFICATION ASSOCIATION VOULIAGMENIS AVENUE 346 A Ag DIMITRIOS ATHENS GR 173 42 GREECE secretary@ipcaweb.org

  5. IPC Update Membership • Full Members of IPC will only be personnel certification bodies as contemplated in ISO/IEC 17024. • Eligibility for membership will be expanded to personnel certification bodies within the conformity assessment arena and not limited to management system auditor certification bodies.

  6. IPC Update Changes in types of membership • MLA Members of IPC will only be those member bodies accredited by an IAF member to ISO 17024 and an IPC approved scheme. • Associate Members of IPC will consist of e.g. associations of organizations concerned with personnel certification and training

  7. IPC Update Changes to IPC MLA process Mutual recognition between IPC members will transition from the current Peer Evaluation process to accreditation by an IAF member to ISO 17024 and an IPC approved scheme. • It is recognised however that, as yet, there is no MLA for ISO 17024 within IAF. During the IPC transition stage it is suggested that valid accreditation of a personnel certification body would be by an IAF member that is subject to peer evaluation. In other cases during the transition period, IPC peer evaluation may be necessary.

  8. IPC Update Liaisons • IPC recognizes the synergy that exists within the various bodies that operate within the conformity assessment arena and is desirous of forming alliances to promote confidence in personnel certification. • IPC has been granted category A liaison status with ISO/TC 176
