  2. Tip #1 Read ALL of the directions before you answer the question.

  3. Tip #2 Don’t waste your energy being nervous! Relax and do your best!

  4. Tip #3 GO TO BED at a reasonable time each night before testing.

  5. Tip #4 Eat a good breakfast Skipping breakfast is not ideal; neither is overeating.

  6. Tip #5 Read the WHOLE question and all possible answers before marking your answer.

  7. Tip #6 Answer EVERYquestion! Make an educated guess.

  8. Tip #7 If there are four choices, and you don’t know which choice is correct, but you do know that two of the answers are absolutely wrong, choose between the remaining two.

  9. Tip #8 Concentrate! Do not allow yourself to be distracted by noises or movements around you.

  10. Tip #9 While taking the test, you should match the number on the Answer Document to the item number in the test booklet.

  11. Tip #10 Know how much time you have to complete each section. Pace yourself so that you finish each test.

  12. Tip #11 Use ALL of the time you are given. If you have 60 minutes to finish a test, use ALL 60 minutes!

  13. Tip #12 If you answer all of the questions before time is called, go back and CHECK your ANSWERS.

  14. Tip #13 Be sure to fill in the circle on your Answer Sheet NEATLYand COMPLETELY

  15. Tip #14 Be sure to erase all stray marks that are outside of circles.
