Everyone has an opinion on quality Quality is in perception BBC aiming to put quality first – this is outlined in a speech by Mark Thompson The public fund the broadcasts - so the masses expect what they perceive as quality In terms of news they expect truth, depth, authority, impartiality and knowledge The public pay, the public want quality, but the public are a diverse audience...

  5. This is what we came up with... Diversity is variety BBC have to cater for all audiences Cuts could make it more difficult to be diverse Not everyone wants to hear, read or see the same thing...
