  3. Traditions • The Navajos were mainly farmers and ranchers. • They build irrigati and dichs. strong bring water to their crops

  4. What did they eat • Navajo indians eat corn, beans, and squash. Man hunted deer, antelope, and small animals . Women gathered nuts, fruit, and herbs. They also started eating goats , and sheep.

  5. Where did they live • The Navajos Live in the corners region ( Arizona, New Mexico, utah, and colorado

  6. How did they dress • Nat all people dressed alike. Some of them wore animals skin , some times with the fur still on. They also wove different grasses and bark to make clothes. They raised sheep and used the wool to make yarn with colors from different plant’s, then they wove beautiful rugs, blankets, and cloth. Some animals hides to cover their feet .They also wove reeds, and plant’s. Strong sandels the Navajo people.
