MUON IB Update list of the CMS Muon Institutions - all the institutions with at least one M&O B paying physicist for 2012 on the DT, RPC, CSC projects have been included; - Please cross-check the list (e-mailed to you) and feedback on missing institutions; For each institution a MUON contact has been requested; MUON-IB@cern.ch is the e-mails list of all the muon contact persons plus PM, TC, RM, DPG coord., Upgrade coord. ; Please feel free to suggest any other relevant colleagues should to be added to the list; discussion on possible delegate from trigger community (Austria, Poland). CMS week 28 February 2012

  2. MUON IB Some items to your attention - Propose a IB sub detectors chairs coordination; - Implement a road map for achieving ( if agreed) a common MUON DPG; Establish general MUON weeks. At regime two/year, one in USA, one in EU; Reinforce the debate and the information flow in the muon community at special CMS occasions (nomination, election, constitution amendments, awards, ect. ; Possibility of additional steering meeting between MUON IB representatives and MUON PM if needed. CMS week 28 February 2012

MUON IB Conference Board and Editorial board - Pigi and Richard are doing an excellent job; - Feedback on rotation for these responsibilities; Perhaps we should set rules for the mandate (to be added in the muon IB constitutions?) and open the positions. Pigi and Richard are welcome to confirm their interest. Would be nice to have available to the Muon IB members the list of relevant conferences, muon presentation and muon papers.   4. MUON IB M&O funds review - Scrutiny of the M&O A and M&O funds for 2013 to be set up; - Scrutiny group formed by IB chair and deputy, PMs, two representatives from each subedector to be nominated by PMs; Andrzje suggests that RMs should not be in, while some external sub-detect colleagues should be included. RPC and CSC installation and commissioning in 2014 may require access to M&O B. Discussion to take place in the scrutiny group; 904 operation budget review ( M&O A?, CERN?) CMS week 28 February 2012
