  2. DT Sector Test Regional Mode Server Board Link Board Detector in UXC55 DT front end Barrel Trigger Boards ReadOut Boards C C B DT station minicrate LVDS copper link Towers in UXC55 Sector Collector ROS Opto link DT Track Finder Counting room in USC55 D D U WedgeSorter Barrel Sorter LTC in MTCC YB+1 S10 MB1, MB2, MB3 Trigger and readout data to Sector Collector and ROS on the tower Sector Collector synchronizes trigger data from chambers and sends them to the PHTF (opto transmission 1.6 GHz) Opto RX in the PHTF backplane DTTF: makes trigger with coincidence 2 out of 3 (only looking at the trigger quality bit) DTTF output to WS -> BS -> Lemo Trigger output (L1A) LTC -> TTCci -> TTCex Back to detector: SC crate and Minicrates

  3. These Data in CMSSW Data recorded (with ROS25) on DAQ PC dtfed1, analyzed through the CMSSW chain. IGUANA event display is a powerful tool to check data quality (trigger configuration, chambers are functioning, hits are aligned) M.Zanetti

  4. CSC Status • Fibers between detector and green barrack are re-cabled • final MTCC fibers • ~20m shorter • CSCs have been timed in again. • First stable HCAL/CSC joint Global DAQ run performed this week. • CSC-Muon trigger over a different trigger path for HCAL • HCAL needed to retime their system. • stable running for several hours • Using CSC trigger, distributed via MTCC TTC hardware • Both subsystems provided data to Global DAQ (~1M events) • however: HV trip of CSC which maximally overlaps with HE makes the data not very efficient. • High humidity likely to be the cause … unavoidable in SX5 • plans: as soon as YE+1 is in its final position and HCAL has completed the final cabling another set of runs will be performed • Hopefully the first thing after next week …
