Current Activities • Virtual Learning Academy • Digital Portfolios • Building Capacity to Manage on-line PD Centers • Open-source movement (ex: Moodle and Mahara) • Coordinated state-wide planning efforts pre-k-16 to support access robust high-speed broadband access • Leveraging E-Rate and other federal, state and local funding sources for purchasing system • DOE continued support for classroom technology mini-grants to continually build a progression model of technology in learning and teaching.
