  2. About Mars • Got its name from roman god of war. Mars means disfigure.

  6. Orbit and rotation Takes Mars 1.88 earth years to travel the sun. it takes 27 days to rotate on its own axis .

  7. Atmosphere Rocky atmosphere. It is a thin atmosphere

  8. Temperature • 70 * F • 200* F on earth It is a lot colder at night on mars that in Florida. At night mars can go to -90* celcus

  9. Appearance • It is a rocky planet it is made up of 95% carbon dioxide • Iron material • Bigger than earth and mars is a red planet

  13. What would happen if a person traveled to Mars • The person would float and the would be really cold
