Hold family group conference to identify potential carers (Phoenix) Obtain EPO or ICO to allow removal of child Place with approved foster carer (Fostering) Yes Carry out assessment of parents By 2nd LAC review, make permanency decision Carry out Reg 38 checks and approve for 6 weeks only After 6 weeks carer must have full fostering approval Return child home?
