  2. Meet Our Officers! • Co – Presidents: Emma Brant: Hi everyone! I'm Emma Brant and am one of the co-presidents. I am a senior here at SU, majoring in Early Childhood Education with a minor in psychology. I am currently in Block C, so Emily and I will be interning during opposite semesters. If you have a questions about anything or any kind of problem, don't hesitate to ask! Emily Metzger: My name is Emily Metzger. I am one of this years' KDP Presidents along with Emma Brant. I am currently a Senior majoring in Elementary Education and minoring in Math. Emma and I oversee the basic operations of KDP. I am also, currently doing my full-time internship in Worcester County this fall! If you have any questions or concerns regarding KDP, please feel free to contact me. I can be reached via email at em52003@gulls.salisbury.edu. Thanks! • Vice President of Programming: Holly Rainville: Hi, I'm Holly a junior here at SU. I am the VP of Programs, which means I send reminders and know when and where all of the events will be. If you're ever having trouble with the emails, contact me! I am an Elementary Ed major with a minor in middle school science (because I love science, especially biology). • Vice President of Membership: Ed Martin: Hello everybody, I'm Ed Martin and I am the Vice President of membership this year for KDP. In short I will be responsible for keeping a log of the points you will earn as members. I am a Senior in History Secondary Education with minors in Social Studies and Political Science.

  3. Meet Our Officers! • Public Relations Chair: Ariel Pinder: Hey I'm Ariel, my major is elementary education with a minor in middle school science. I love being outside and going to new places!  • Community Service Chair: Rachel Clewer: Hello, I'm Rachel. I'm an elementary education major with a coaching minor. I'm also play Field Hockey for SU. If you have any questions feel free to email me! • Foundations Representative: Alex Clagett: I'm Alex Clagett and I am the Foundations Representative chair on the KDP committee! I am an elementary education major with a minor in math. I am also currently a junior. I am really big into Relay For Life and I was on the committee the past year and plan on being on it again next year along with doing KDP's Relay team:). I am kind of a nerd and I'm very passionate about math and love corny jokes (especially math ones!). I cannot really think of anything else to say! Cannot wait to work with you this year! • Professional Development Chair: Ashley Stewart: Hi, I'm Ashley. I am an Elementary Education major and I am the professional development coordinator for KDP. If you have any questions about professional development events please feel free to contact me. • Secretary: Kate Matuszak: I'm Kate Matuszak and I am studying elementary education and have a spanish minor. I'm a senior and am secretary. As my position, I help the other officers in whatever ways necessary and help keep everything organized.

  4. Meet Our Officers! • Treasurer: Kelsey Matuszak: My name is Kelsey Matuszak and I am a senior this year. I am studying Elementary Education with a minor in Spanish. This year I am treasurer in KDP, which means that I am involved with fundraising and the financial aspects of our chapter including new member dues. If you have any questions please contact me at km74452@gulls.salisbury.edu, I would be more than happy to help! • Historian: Lindsay Gordon: Hi I'm Lindsay! I'm a senior ELED major and CADR minor. I love SU, Maryland basketball and the beach. I serve as Historian for KDP this year. My job is to document events by taking pictures and decorating our display case. If you need anything or have any questions I love to talk so just email me! • Social Committee Chair: Danielle Pulliam: My name is Dannie Pulliam and I am a senior! I'm an ELED major with a minor in ESOL. When I'm not working on school work, I'm either with my friends or at the gym • Alumni Chair: AmyJo Jackson: I am a Junior here and this is my first semester in the education program and first year in KDP. I am excited about this year and cannot wait to get started! • Webmaster: Niya Browne: Hello, Everyone! I am Niya Browne and I am a junior majoring in Early Childhood/Elementary Education with a minor in math. I am excited to be webmaster because I enjoy working with technology. Let me know if I can do anything to help you!  Check out our Facebook, website, and Google calendar, I will be updating it with upcoming events!!!

  5. Points • Active Members MUST earn 10 points per semester, totaling 20 each year. • The semester you are interning, you automatically get 8 points, but the remaining 2 points must be either Community Service, Social or Professional Development.

  9. Events! • Welcome Back to School BBQ, Seagull Square Lawn, September 20thfrom 3-5pm • Bring: 1 dollar (fundraisng), a children’s book to donate(community service), and wear your tshirt! • Resume Workshop: Tuesday, September 18th • Walk-in resume review: Thursday, September 13th
