  1. ¿Qué somos los seres humanos cuerpos o conciencias? Todos los seres humanos tenemos un cuerpo físico, con músculos y órganos sensoriales. En su interior el sistema nervioso recibe la información de los órganos sensoriales y controla el movimiento de los músculos. También pensamos que somos nuestros hábitos, forma de ser, creencias, gustos, inquietudes…. Nuestra mente y conciencia. ¿Controla ella el sistema nervioso? ¿Es parte de él? ¿Forma parte del cuerpo o por el contrario, es un fenómeno independiente del resto del cuerpo? ¿Somos solo cuerpo? ¿Somos conciencia? ¿Somos cuerpo y conciencia? Desde la antigüedad los filósofos han ocupado el tema dando enfoques totalmente antagónicos. Encontramos diversas teorías como el monismo o el dualismo, y numerosas investigaciones al respecto, como el actual concepto de la medicina cuerpo-mente. Noelia Trijueque Parra 1ºBTO A
