Welcome to ATE 2012! • ATE was last held in Perth in 2008 • Tourism Australia have been working closely with the host state, Tourism Western Australia and the major airline sponsor, Qantas to bring you a great event. • Australian Outback is the theme for ATE12 • We encourage all delegates to discover the diverse outback experiences Australia offers and to experience the ATE Trail activities which will be available again during ATE. 

  3. Trade Events Mate The ultimate planning tool for ATE12 attendees! There are two easy ways to access Trade Events Mate. iPhone/iPad version (recommended) 1. Search for Trade Events Mate or Tourism Australia in the iTunes store and download the Trade Events Mate app 2. Install the app onto your iPhone/iPad 3. Login using your trade events username and password Mobile HTML 5 site (for Android and Blackberry) 1. Go to. www.tradeevents.australia.com/trademate 2. Login using your trade events username and password Wireless Internet Access @ ATE Connection to a wireless service will be available on the trade show floor between the hours of 8.00 and 18.00 Service is for business purposes only.   5. Delegate neck wallets • Remember to wear your name badge each day at ATE and for all the evening functions. • Entry to ATE is not permitted without your name badge being displayed • Badge swapping is not permitted

  6. Look out for the ATE12 Trail in your neck wallet when you register! The ATE12 Trail increases networking opportunities for all delegates. All Buyers are encouraged to move about the floor and visit all areas.

  7. Tourism NT– Head to the Outback in the Great NT Hat Yak. Share your NT story and go in the running to receive your very own Akubra Hat. Enjoy refreshing Mango slushies, at the NT Waterhole and watch indigenous art work in progress. Tourism Western Australia – Head to the Extraordinary Café for your coffee pick-me-up and don’t miss the Extraordinary Happy Hours proudly hosted by TWA Destination NSW – For a morning pick me up, head to Café NSW. Visit the Destination NSW stand during Happy Hour for your chance to win a Legally Blonde Sydney Stay. x close x close x close Tourism Victoria – A visit to Tourism Victoria’s Café Melbourne Style will give you a taste of the proud café culture of Victoria’s capital - Melbourne. Also head to the Tourism Victoria stand during Happy Hour to try ‘Melbourne’s Signature Sips’. Tourism Queensland – The Queensland Café and Noodle bar is back and don’t forget to head to ‘The House’ for a Queensland seafood BBQ. South Australian Tourism Commission – Adelaide's premier tea establishment TBar will be serving their unique and exciting range of tea flavours each day. Other treats throughout the week include Haigh’s Chocolates. Click on each State/Territory area for a sneak peak of what will be happening on the ATE 12 Trail x close x close x close

Lunches • Lunches will be hosted by the event partners, Tourism Australia, Tourism Western Australia and Qantas • The duration is one hour and 10 minutes • Lunch venue BelleVue Ballroom – located on Level 3 • Please leave your trolley bag at your next appointment or in the brochure box room during lunch. Don’t leave any valuables unattended.

Brochure Boxes • Brochure Box Area is located in the back section of Pavilion 3 • Please check that your street address and contact number listed on the brochure box is correct • Brochure boxes can only be sent to a street address. Update your address if a Postal Box address or C/O Tourism Australia is listed on your box • Only pack paper products into your brochure box • Weight must not exceed 10 kg • CD’s, videos, gifts, etc must be carried in your own luggage due to Customs regulations and will be discarded if found in your brochure box

  12. Buyer surveys Western Buyers will be emailed their survey link to complete online after the event. The survey closes on Tuesday 13 July. Feedback is crucial to the ongoing development and success of future ATE’s. Inside your trolley bag is a note book gift, as an appreciation of your feedback. • Wireless internet access • Connection to a wireless service will be available on the trade show floor between the hours of 8.00 and 18.00. Service is for business purposes only. • Login. ATE12Password. perth • Alternatively there are three internet cafes on the trade show floor with broadband access. Luggage tags Your business card will be laminated to become a luggage tag and identify your trolley bag while at ATE. Head to the Luggage Tag area located next to the Tourism Australia Information Desk Centre to get your luggage tags.

A few tips… • Bring plenty of business cards each day • Smart casual/business attire at all times • Turn off your mobile phone during appointments • Visit the Western Australia Information Desk for all your queries about Perth • The cloak room is available for storage of small personal items only and located on Level 2. PCEC accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to items. • Remember your name badge
