Over the past eighteen years, she has held a leadership role within the financial services industry for a major insurance company. Her memoir, Don’t Hit My Mama! is a triumphant account of a childhood riddled with family violence, abuse and neglect. For three decades, Renesia attempted to outrun and deny the past abuse that haunted her, until one day she could no longer hide. She was forced to face her own demons. In her new release Don’t Hit My Mama!Renesia openly describes the process she went through to find wholeness. In addition, she shares self-help exercises for those who want to embark on their own journey of breaking the cycle of abuse and overcoming the effects of family violence. Renesia'sdesire for those held captive by past hurt and pain is to see them set free and made whole from the inside out. One Reveals the Truth. “A powerful and stunning documentary that shows just how much children are affected by domestic violence.” THE CHILDREN NEXT DOOR is a unique documentary that recounts the fear and pain of domestic violence through the eyes children. The film takes us on a family’s journey to discover the truth that lies beneath a recurring cycle of violence and the solution to end it. Raised in Tennessee households fraught with domestic violence, Penny and Brad Waldroup vowed when they fell in love to end the cycle. A ten-year marriage plagued by waves of mounting violence, all in front of their four children, culminated one horrific night. The film opens five and a half years later as the family continues to struggle with the impact of the violence that shaped their lives. Within three short months, we witness an astonishing turn of events. THE CHILDREN NEXT DOOR is the first documentary of its kind to focus the conversation on the children of domestic violence in such a prominent way and elevate the visibility of this issue to the level it has.

The people give their time and talentsto other people. The people we connect with and the memories we make together. Drill is my favorite. I get to go out of town, see new things, have fun and march for trophies. It feel’s amazing just being able to have people to love us and watch us! The things I learn in here, the movements and how serious this class is. It can help you in the future. Leadership is a major factor that is in my life. I also I’m in the JROTC program to learn more values and skills that will help me in my life. I enjoy being around peers who enjoy doing the same things. I have been in the JROTC program for all four years of high school. I participate in varsity rifle and pistol team, and I helped lead Benson to its seventh consecutive first place against all OPS schools.
