Comparisons of WRF Model Runs with Satellite Data in SAL Regions

This study by Eddy Hildebrand on 30 April 2009 evaluates WRF model performance in SAL regions using satellite data. Moisture products like SSMI TPW and MODIS H2O are compared at different atmospheric levels (1000 hPa, 700 hPa). Results also include temperature and wind perturbations at 700 hPa level.
