Key Points for Group Presentations • The order people will speak • Introducing and concluding the presentation • Overview of the entire presentation • Passing smoothly from one speaker to another
Make eye contact • Engage your audience through eye contact • Scan all of the audience • Try to make eye contact with almost everyone
Use your voice • Everyone should be able to hear you • Speak at the right speed - a little slower than everyday conversation • Use your voice to emphasise important points • Show that you're questioning an issue
Use timing • Pace your presentation • Don't be afraid of using short pauses • Avoid speaking too quickly • Time your practice presentation
