  8. The South East Busway, cost a total of A$350 million or A$21.875 million per km (16km) and moves around 30 million people a year in Brisbane. The South East Busway, carries 18,000 people per hour, in the morning at its busiest peak. There has been a 180% increase in patronage on major bus routes since opening the South East Busway. More than 70% of network passengers use some part of a Busway in their journey.Total network patronage has increased by 50% in the last 5 years. www.ozebus.com.au
