This week’s focus is on the principle of contrast in design. We will engage in various activities to illustrate and apply contrast through different elements such as light and dark values, geometric and organic shapes, and warm and cool colors. Each session will start with a warm-up, involving drawing and painting exercises that highlight these contrasts. Students will practice their techniques and explore the emotional and visual impact of contrast in art, culminating in a final still-life project that integrates these concepts.
