  2. Assembly automation is defined as an evolved and technology-driven manufacturing process. It uses software digitized data, and applied plant design engineering principles for the purpose of manufacturing processes. The focus of this approach is to minimize the manual labor in the manufacturing process. The benefit of automating the manufacturing process is that efficiency is optimized as are safety, productivity and output uniformity. Robot tending is typically CNC machine automation for using robot systems in loading and unloading a production machine. Hence it can be any type of machine and in most cases it is CNC machine tools or an injection molding machine. Machine tending is also the process of automated operation of an industrial machine tool within the larger area of manufacturing plants and is ideally within the robot automation systems context.

  3. Assembly automation Assembly automation is also defined as a strategic integration of cutting-edge technology across the assembly line in a manufacturing unit. This technology usually includes robotic arms sensors which can manipulate parts for the assembly or automate movement with guided vehicles. The main use of assembly lines in automation is to ensure there is conveyance and the deployment of robotic arms and other automated technologies integrates all of the processes for optimized ROI. These are ideal for completing the production task within the multiple stations of an assembly line. The moving parts of the product from one step to the other is totally automated with minimal human interference. Because of the automated production sequence the entire process is monitored and controlled by administrators. There are 5 primary types of automated manufacturing systems. These are industrial automation, numerically controlled machines, industrial robots, flexible manufacturing systems and computer aided manufacturing.

  4. Robot tending Within the robot tending machine use spectrum there are 6 types that are commonly implemented. These are the AMR or the autonomous mobile robots, the AGV’s or the automated guided vehicles, humanoids, cobots, articulated robots as well as a range of hybrids. The main purpose of assembly automation is to provide machine operators the Anis of use from their typical from the traditional physically demanding work. These tasks are mostly repetitive as well and lead to risk many times. Hence a robot standing machine is a collaborative robot that is used with machines such as CNC or press brakes or injection molding or stamp pressing and giving employers the option of monetary and overseeing the production process and minimizing risk of injuries.
