Freshman Seminar Success: Expectations for Classroom Participation and Responsibility

Welcome to Mrs. Lang's Freshmen Seminar! Success in this class requires respect, responsibility, preparation, and active participation. Your semester work contributes 90% to your grade, while the final exam counts for 10%. Be sure to utilize class time effectively and submit daily assignments, which are primarily graded on effort and completion. Headphones are permitted if used quietly, but academic phone use is limited to research and assignments. Maintain a positive attitude and engage fully—questions are encouraged for clarification. For extra help, visit Mrs. Lang in her office or contact her via email.
