  15. technology “Quick Collimation” is a function that automatically searches for the center of the target When Auto Pointing is performed, the image sensor on the instruments detects the light beam reflected from the target, the offset between the target and telescope reticle is calculated by image processing, then the angle measurement value obtained from the encoder is compensated. (IACS) This structure requires neither external references nor operator observation, eliminating loss in accuracy due to the problems of external references and variations in operator ability.

Motor Settings • Select “Motor” in <Configuration> • You will see “Configuration”, “Search area” and “JOG setting” tab <Configuration> tab • Items set and options • AUTO AIM: Fine/Rapid • Search setting: None/Search • Turn: 5”/10”/20”/30”/60” • *Factory setting (1) AUTO AIM Select "Rapid" when supporting prism pole by hand. It can be performed even with slight instability of prism position or minor shifts of target position in the field-of-view. “Fine” is recommended when a high level of measurement accuracy is required. Make sure that the prism is securely mounted on a tripod. When using this setting when supporting the pole by hand, hand movements will result in Auto pointing taking too long to complete and “Time out” error will occur. (2) Search setting Select “Search” for using Auto collimation function. “None” to switch off Auto Collimation. (3) Turn To set a tolerance range for setting accuracywhen truing the instrument from the reference Angle to a Specified Angle

In Addition it is available to change switching point from low speed to High shifting speed. This setting will realize customer friendly operability.
