  2. Plasma Waves Three satellite rotations (3 minutes) of data are shown. The highly polarized waves are spin modulated. The frequency range is centered a little over 60 Hz. These are ion Bernstein waves, just below the LHR.

  3. UCSD Data The satellite passes into the plasmasphere as it is crossing the equator at 0500, then crosses back into the plasma sheet several hours later, at much higher magnetic latitude. No trapped plasmas or waves at the plasmapause crossing at 1130 Z, 18° m
