Talk to the students in HS that have been there before or to the teacher leading the site. Don’t let anyone decide where you should go it’s YOUR choice - it’s time for YOU to give back! There is limited space for each of the sites, so you will have to make your top 4 choices. Choices Voting will take place next week– we will give you those details later.
“It was an amazing learning experience from the moment we stepped out of that bus and saw a sight very much different from the clean hallways of ISM. It’s like all of us were hit with this Reality Truck that was screaming, “Hey, the rest of the world isn’t as fortunate as you folks.” And from that first day, seeing all the animals not in the greatest conditions- but eating well and being cared for, all of us and most especially myself were inspired and motivated to improve the facilities for them.” ISM student
“It was really weird how we were so distanced and afraid to speak to the kids when we first arrived and how by the time we left we were already so close that is was hard for us to say good-bye.” ISM student
