  3. 2 Samuel 7:12-13 “When your days are fulfilled and you rest with your fathers, I will set up your seed after you, who will come from your body, and I will establish his kingdom. 13 He shall build a house for My name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.” God’s words through Nathan to King David

  4. Psalm 132:11 The LORD has sworn in truth to David; He will not turn from it: “I will set upon your throne the fruit of your body.”

  13. Revelation 1:9 I, John, both your brother and companion in the tribulation and kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was on the island that is called Patmos for the word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

  14. Conclusion To be in the “kingdom of God” one must obey the gospel of the King. You have the opportunity to be “greater” than John the Baptist. Will you become a citizen of God’s kingdom?
