  2. SEA LION • Sea lions are marine mammals that belong to the Otariidae family. • They are generally found in shallow waters of coastal areas of the northern and southern hemispheres in areas that have abundant food sources.

  3. SEA TURTLES • Sea turtles are found in oceans all over the world, except in the Artic Ocean. • There are seven different types of sea turtles. • All types of sea turtles are endangered species.

  4. DOLPHINS • Dolphins are aquatic mammals. • They are close relatives to whales and porpoises. • They are found worldwide in shallower seas. • Dolphins are considered one of the most intelligent animals on earth. • Dolphin Research Center

ORCA KILLER WHALE • The Orca is actually a dolphin and is the largest of the dolphin family. • They are fierce mammals and are sometimes referred to as “assassin whales”. • Orca often travel in groups of 3 to 25 whales, with at least 1 male. • They have been sighted along the shores of Washington, Oregon, California, Baja California, and along the eastern coast of the United States. • Shamu TV

STINGRAY • Stingrays are common in tropical coastal waters throughout the world. • They swim with a flying motion and propel themselves with their large pectoral wings. • Their stinger is razor sharp and contains concentrated venom. • When they are attacked by predators or stepped, they attack with their stinger.

  7. OCTOPUS • The octopus are inhabitants of many diverse regions in the ocean, especially areas with coral reefs. • They have 8 arms that have suction cups and their bodies have no internal skeleton.

  8. HUMPBACK WHALE • Humpback whales have dorsal fins on their backs and ventral pleats from their lower jaw to their belly area. • The shape and color of their dorsal fins are as unique as humans fingerprints. • They are acrobatic whales and can throw themselves completely out of the water and swim on their backs with both flippers in the air.

  9. JELLYFISH • Jellyfish are fish eating animals that live in the ocean. Few jellyfish live in fresh water. • Their bodies are soft and they have long poisonous tentacles that they use to catch fish. • A jellyfish is made up of 98% water.
