  3. ATRA • The American Therapeutic Recreation Association • The ATRA website is one of the first places a person can go to learn about Recreation Therapy

  4. NCTRC • The National Counsel for Therapeutic Recreation Certification • Established in 1981 this counsel is used to insure that all practicing recreational therapists are certified. This organization strives to protect the clients and recreational therapists and support quality health care.

  5. URTA • Utah Recreation Therapy Association • A membership organization that strives to promote therapeutic recreation.
