  2. D1.3 Impact Assessment Report • It reports on the activities organised throughout YMIR’s lifecycle focusing on the impact they had on the respective community as well as its assessment • Not yet finalised, results of Lisbon event are awaited pending its completion

  3. D1.3 Contents • Executive Summary, Introduction, Conclusions • Problem Definition • The YMIR approach • Synopsis of the events organised • Evaluation and Impact Assessment

  4. Evaluation & Impact Assessment • Questionnaires targeted to assess the process of accessing financing • Continuous follow up from YMIR partners • Milestones are the events organised

  5. The Questionnaire assessed • Satisfaction level of the event organisation • Perception of usefulness of VA and IF • Practical results i.e. meetings with investors • Progress status of achieving financing • Interest in participating again

  6. Methodology • Financial deals are a lengthy and cumbersome process • Interviews (phone or email) every 3-4 months • Findings published at Newsletters • Focus on SMEs that were awarded prizes

  7. Conclusions so far • Still one event to go situated in the periphery (Lisbon, Portugal) where we expect increased attendance from the local market • High degree of satisfaction in terms of organisation for both VA and IF (ranked 4 & 5 ~85%)

  8. Conclusions so far • High degree of satisfaction in terms of training and guidance received (~80%) • High ratings in terms of usefulness (~70%) and interest in participating again in the event (~90%) • High degree of recommendations to others (~90%)
