If you would like to donate some popcorn or caprisunsfor a special treat, let me know. • What we’re Learning! • Words with digraph –ck and final -k • Addition • Place Value, one more/less, ten more/less • Shared reading – Charlie and the Chocolate Factory • Folktales: John Henry • Word Study – clock, kick, sack, milk • Words to know – for, on, are • Your child will need to know how to spell word study words, words that have the same pattern (not on the list) and “words to know” words, • Our word assessment will be Oct. 10. Homework Monday – Math sheet Tuesday – Write 2 words that have –ock and 2 that have -ick . Choose one word and write a sentence. Math sheet Wednesday– Read and practice sight words. Thursday – Math Sheet Friday - Read and practice sight words Congratulations to Izzy and John for reaching their AR goal!! We had a great time making apple turnovers for Johnny Appleseed’s birthday on Friday! Weekly Schedule Monday – Music Tuesday – Technology and Library Wednesday – P.E. (wear tennis shoes) Thursday – Art, Ice cream day $1.00 Friday – P.E. (wear tennis shoes)
