Ensure safety in the barracks by adhering to these guidelines on prohibited cooking appliances and electrical equipment. Items such as toasters, rice cookers, deep fryers, and electric woks are strictly forbidden. Additionally, certain extension cords and power strips that lack surge protection cannot be used. Acceptable appliances include blenders, coffee pots, and fans. Follow the storage guidelines, maintaining an 18-inch clearance from sprinkler heads and light fixtures to prevent fire hazards. Adhering to these rules is crucial for maintaining a safe living environment.
