  2. UAE • Although the United Arab Emirates is a desert region, His Highness Sheikh Zayed , the late ruler, could change it into green land. Parks, trees , farms and agricultural projects spread everywhere in the UAE. Under the directions of the late Sheikh Zayed several sea water desalination projects were started. Fresh water is available now for drinking and irrigation. Sheikh Zayed was selected “Man of Environment” in 1993.

  3. Ferrari world • United Arab Emirates: opened Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, the first theme park inspired by the Ferrari and the biggest of its kind in the world. It is the first of its kind in the Middle East, that fascinates the cores of thousands of visitors by providing a range of exciting games and unique, such as roller coaster fastest in the world, "Formula Rosa," and round "magic speed" the first round of imaginary quad-Dimensions in the region.

  4. PORTUGAL • Fishing is an important industry in Portugal. They are a sailors’ country. • There are many dams in Portugal. The dam produces electricity. This is a dam called Pinheiro de Ázere.

ROMANIA • Our friends from Romania follow these rules: Reduce Reuse Recycle • You can "reuse" materials in their original form instead of throwing them away, or pass those materials on to others who could use them too! Remember, one man's trash is another man's treasure! Recycle—don’t just toss everything in the trash. Lots of things can be remade into either the same kind of thing or new products. Making new items from recycled ones also takes less energy. To make something smaller or use less, resulting in a smaller amount of waste.

  6. MikhaelLomonosov made a telescope and observed a lot of stars and planets with it. He built a factory near Saint Petersburg, it produced glass. Lomonosov was the first person to record the freezing of mercury. Lomonosov was the founder of the first Russian University, this University is named after Lomonosov and it is situated in Moscow. M. Lomonosov was generally recognized as one of the most outstanding persons in the world in the 18th century. RUSSIA
