Conclusion Tasks: - Tracking detectors: Si-strip and diamond detectors Si-strip detectors have been successfully implemented and tested Diamond detector with fine pitch available, full-size prototype in progress - Large area detectors for heavy ions and light charged particles Multi-track detector design well advanced Large-area proton detectors implemented and tested - High-resolution ToF wall (RPC based) Beam-tests with prototype RPCs have been performed - Pilot experiments: proton detection and quasi-free scattering Proton detection implemented, first experiment performed First Pilot experiment for quasi-free scattering will start 27th September 2007 - High-transmission beam line Beam line to Cave C has been modified - Low-mass tracking detectors Prototypes are available RHIB plans to extend the activity for one more year (unitl end of EURONS) to finalize designs and to analyze the test experiments
