  3. 70% of UK medical students are females

  4. 50% of medical graduates in USA are females Harvard medical school graduation day, May 2013

  6. Benha Faculty of MedicineStudents Gender Ratio 2008-2009 60% 40%

  7. Male : Female ratio in postgraduate students was 1: 16 !!!

  8. So, we had 2 choices

  9. # 1 : Leave Andrology research altogether

  10. # 2: Resort to female sexuality research

  11. I chose the second choice but the road was bumpy

  12. WHY ?

  13. I-PROBLEMS RELATED TO PHYSIOLOGY We do not know what is normal and what is not

  14. II-Problems related to subjects’ nature 1- The vast emotional effect

  15. 2-The great variations related to socioeconomic standards 2-

  16. 4-The feminine nature of keeping sexual affairs secret

  17. The general tendency of women to under-report premarital sexual experiences

  18. III-Problems in structuring questionnaire

  19. 1-Biased sampling

  20. 2-Volunteers

  21. 3-Inability to understand some terms

  22. 4-Participation biasThose refusing to participate may have a significantly different attitude
