  1. FOTA User Guide FOTA (Firmware over the air) : FOTA ( Firmware over the air) enables a user to update the firmware of his Smart phone (Android) over the air through a Wi-Fi connection. The updated firmware file gets downloaded to handset & installed online, this is same like downloading an application from Android market. It is an efficient & fast method of updating the phone over the air. Phone updation through FOTA is possible only when a new version has been released by LG. If the phone already has the latest version, then it cannot be updated through FOTA A detailed procedure of update through FOTA is explained in the subsequent slides Note : This facility is available for selected models only. It is recommended to charge battery to full (Alteast 90%) before starting FOTA update.
