  1. Project North – Domain Name Email (DNE) Migration Plan Domain Name Email Migration Plan SpinCo/NewCo & West Virginia

Project North DNE Migration Plan • Maintain existing base of DNE on current service platform to Close of Sale (7-1-10) and until Frontier migration is completed for SpinCo and West Virginia • Joint planning with Frontier on DNE customer migration in a phased process similar to Vz.net email with completion by 7-31-10 • Define action and responsibilities for DNE migration including for both Vz/VOL and Frontier • Develop extract/file of individual DNE accounts for SpinCo/Frontier for their use in customer migration post Close of Sale (July 2010) • Customer notification 30 days in advance of Close of Sale informing of change of provider (by 6-1-10) similar to Vz.net notification • Frontier responsible for customer communications post close of sale • Frontier implementation of DNE migration on a individual customer basis including IMAP transfer of email accounts and re-pointing of domain names/MX records • Vz/VOL to implement email forwarding from Vz.net email accounts to Frontier email accounts after migration • Vz/VOL to terminate email forwarding and remove DNE email accounts 60 days post Close of Sale

Project North DNE Migration Plan • Frontier to provide definition of current DNE service and 3rd party Domain Name Registrar • Frontier to define & implement a process to re-point Domain at the time of the individual customer IMAP account migrations • Frontier to consider option for using 3rd party vendor to do “mass” re-pointing i.e. Frontier existing 3rd party Domain Name Registrar • Frontier & Verizon to implement a Letter of Agreement to support the DNE migration plan including the requirement to have migration completed within 30 days post Close of Sale • Frontier & Verizon to establish Single Points of Contact (SPOC) for technical and implementation planning for DNE migration • Implementation of bi-weekly planning meetings led by SPOC’s • Bi-weekly planning meetings to establish migration testing in advance of Close of Sale • Bi-weekly planning meetings to establish project plan including actions, timelines, persons responsible, etc.
