Empowering Pathways: Enhancing Employment Opportunities with Community Housing Support
Pathways, led by Solihull Community Housing and supported by LSC, started in October 2004 to empower individuals, particularly those over 19, to secure employment through a structured program. With a focus on local marketing and excellent retention rates, the initiative provides accredited training in various skills including plastering and brickwork. Notable successes include 42% employment through partnerships, with many students progressing into apprenticeships or starting their own businesses. Future plans aim to streamline delivery and expand skill development pathways.
