  2. Bats Horseshoe bats are found all over the world except for cold, polar regions and high mountains. Bats are nocturnal animals. These bats have a furry face, tiny eyes, big ears and a large frilly nose. They send out squeaky sounds through their nose. They eat insects, small birds ,lizards, frogs and fish. They live in large groups in their roost. When it is time to have babies the female bats set up a nursery where the babies are born.
