Wimmera Southern Mallee VET Cluster established in 1997
Students from partner schools travel to Horsham each Wednesday to access a range of VET options
Collaborative, cross-sectoral arrangements provide the critical mass of students to enable access to a wider range of VET options than might otherwise be available in individual schools
Strong commitment to VET, despite challenges of access
(e.g. transport, travel time and cost, distance)
Transport model developed through collaborative partnerships, with the Department of Transport, to support access to VET (formerly the Access Bus Model; in 2009, a Regular Public Transport service)
